Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in classes, workshops, rehearsals, performances, and events run by Razzle Dazzle Dance School ("we", "us", "our"). By enrolling yourself or your child, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Enrolment and Eligibility

• Enrolment is subject to availability and acceptance by the theatre school.
• Participants must meet any stated age requirements for specific classes or productions.
• For participants under 18, enrolment must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.
• We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw enrolment where behaviour, safety, or welfare concerns arise.

3. Fees and Payment

• Fees are payable in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• All fees must be paid by the stated due date to secure a place.
• Payment methods and schedules will be communicated at the time of enrolment.
• We reserve the right to suspend participation where fees remain unpaid.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

a. Cancellation by You

• Notice of cancellation must be provided in writing.
• Fees are non-refundable once a term, course, or rehearsal period has commenced, except in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.
• Missed classes or rehearsals are not refundable.

b. Cancellation by Us

• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes, rehearsals, or events due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. illness, venue unavailability or adverse weather conditions).
• Where possible, alternative sessions or credits will be offered.

5. Attendance and Punctuality

• Regular attendance and punctuality are expected to ensure the smooth running of classes and productions.
• Persistent lateness or absence may affect casting or participation in performances.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring children are collected promptly at the end of sessions.

6. Behaviour and Conduct

• All participants are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, volunteers, and fellow participants.
• Bullying, discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
• We reserve the right to remove a participant from a session or withdraw enrolment if behaviour is deemed unacceptable. No refund will be issued in such cases.

7. Safeguarding and Welfare

• We are committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable individuals.
• Relevant staff and volunteers may hold DBS checks where required.
• Parents/guardians must disclose any medical, behavioural, or additional needs that may affect participation or safety.

8. Health and Safety

• Participants must follow all health and safety instructions given by staff.
• We are not responsible for injury resulting from failure to follow instructions or from undisclosed medical conditions.
• Any illness or injury occurring during sessions should be reported to staff immediately.

9. Medical Information and Emergencies

• By enrolling, you consent to emergency medical treatment being administered if required.
• We will make reasonable attempts to contact parents/guardians in the event of an emergency.
• Medication will only be administered where prior written consent has been provided.

10. Photography and Video Recording

• Photographs and video recordings may be taken during classes, rehearsals, and performances.
• These may be used for promotional or educational purposes in line with our Privacy Policy.
• Consent preferences must be indicated on enrolment or consent forms and can be withdrawn in writing at any time.

11. Intellectual Property

• Scripts, choreography, recordings, and teaching materials remain the intellectual property of the theatre school or relevant licensors.
• Participants may not record, reproduce, or distribute materials without prior written permission.

12. Liability

• Participation in theatre activities involves a degree of physical movement and risk.
• We accept no liability for loss, damage, or injury except where caused by our negligence or where liability cannot be excluded by law.
• Personal belongings are brought at the participant’s own risk.

13. Data Protection

• Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• By enrolling, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to These Terms

• We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
• Updated terms will be made available on our website or provided directly where appropriate.

15. Governing Law

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
• Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
